Portraits in Motion – Dr. Fantee Jones Piano Recital

Eastern Illinois University will host Dr. Fantee Jones, distinguished pianist and Artistic Director of the U.S. Open Piano Competition, for a guest recital.  This will be on Tuesday, September 23, at 7:30 p.m in the Doudna Fine Arts Center Recital Hall.

A member of the San Francisco Conservatory of Music Preparatory Division faculty, Dr. Jones is acclaimed for her expressive artistry and imaginative performances. Her program, “Portraits in Motion,” features works by Beethoven, Chopin, Schumann, and Grünfeld, offering a vivid exploration of musical character and style.
