Effingham County 911 board members are working to earn interest on funds on account.
The Board Tuesday voted to renew a 12-month CD through Land of Lincoln worth $500,000, and voted to invest $250,000 for six months through Dieterich Bank.
The Board learned that System Administrator Tina Daniels is working on the budget for the coming fiscal year, and heard that work is underway on beta testing of a software system.
