The Effingham County Health Department (ECHD) will once again be offering Flu Vaccination Clinics at its 901 W. Virginia location.
We all know how miserable the flu can be, and for some the flu may lead to hospitalization. A flu shot can help reduce the severity of the illness, making it important that you get an annual flu shot.
Adult flu clinics for 19 years and over – ECHD will hold drive-through flu vaccination clinics Tuesdays and Thursdays 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. starting on Tuesday, September 16th through the end of October. Please wear short sleeved shirts and no coat in the car so it is easier to receive your shot. Have your insurance card(s) and photo ID ready for ECHD employees to scan and check.
Listen to local radio for weather related changes to clinic times.
The Effingham County Health Department is located at 901 W. Virginia Avenue in Effingham. For more information call the Health Department at 217-342-9237 or go online at www.effcohealth.org.
