The Teutopolis girls tennis competed as a team at the Heather Bradshaw Invitational this past weekend in Edwardsville.
The Shoes were in the Challengers I flight. Play began Friday with a dual meet vs. Danville. Teutopolis won the dual meet 6-3, advancing to the semi-finals as a team, which was played Saturday.
In the semi-final dual meet, the Shoes played Chatham Glenwood and won 5-4. This win advanced T-town to the championship dual meet against Triad.
In the championship dual, Teutopolis lost to Troy Triad, 7-2
The Wooden Shoes finished as runners-up of the Challengers I flight
