 South Central Blanks Ramsey 15-0 in High School Baseball

KINMUNDY — South Central finished with a shutout of Ramsey by a 15-0 count in four innings of high school baseball Monday.

Kaiden Harrell hit a double in the second to score a run and the second run scored on a balk as the Cougars moved into a 2-0 lead.

South Central then tallied seven runs in the third inning.  The Cougars drew two walks and had a batter hit by a pitch to load the bases. South Central ended up scoring the seven runs to lead 9-0.

Singles by Sebastian Kruger and Aiden Strobel and four straight doubles off the bats of Aiden Hoover, Chase Guerrettaz, Hudson Moore and Garrett Shumate tallied six more runs to push the lead to 15-0 and the game ended by the 10-run rule.

The Cougars finished with 10 hits in the contest led by Aiden Hoover with two hits and two RBI. Chase Guerrettaz, Hudson Moore, Garrett Shumate, Kaiden Harrell, Kruger and Aiden Strobel had a hit and an RBI each.

South Central is now 4-4 on the season and will play host to Altamont as two National Trail Conference teams meet today.
