 Newton’s Ochs, Lindley Tie For First In Girls Golf Match, Kennedy Fifth In Boys Meet

Newton High School’s Haley Ochs and Peyton Lindley tied for first place in a girls golf match at Casey-Westfield Tuesday.

The duo finished with a 41 each. The next score was a 52 by Mallory Richardson of Olney.

In the boys match, Olney won with a 158 team total followed by Casey-Westfield 162 and Newton 170. Paris also had competitors in the match.

Medalist was Olney’s Ayden Nealis with a 36 followed in the top five by Reese Glover (Olney) 37, Tyler Volk (Casey-Westfield) 38, Carson Hall (Casey-Westfield) 39 and Michael Kennedy (Newton) 40.

Also competing for Newton were seventh, Jack James with a 41, 12th Jacob Oldham  with a 44, 14th Blaine Bergbower with a 45, 16th Nolen Cleaver with a 48 and 27th Ajay McCann with a 64.
