Michelle Kollmann, Effingham County Clerk and Recorder, is seeking re-election in the March 17, 2026 General Primary Election.

In announcing her re-election bid, Kollman said, “It has been an absolute honor to serve the residents of Effingham County. I am extremely proud of the work and progress that my dedicated staff and I have accomplished in the last few years. Some of those accomplishments include the preservation of documents by the digitization of all land and vital records in the recorders vault, offered the online notification service of Property Fraud Alert, implemented a program for public viewing of the election night results on our website and the availability for the public to request vital records online thru the Official Records Online program.”

Kollmann said, “As your current county clerk, I remain committed to serving our community and county with honesty, integrity and dedication. Being the Effingham County Clerk and Recorder has been a challenging and rewarding experience that I have fully enjoyed. I would be truly grateful for your continued trust and support as I seek re-election for Effingham County Clerk and Recorder in the 2026 Primary Election.”
