A local man was sentenced to 18 months in prison for domestic battery.
49-year-old Aaron J. Doedtman of Watson had been placed on probation when his case was first concluded, but Doedtman then violated his probation. That led to the prison time.
Doedtman will be on four years mandatory supervised release once out of prison.
