The 81st Effingham County Fair is almost here.
The fair will run from July 26-August 2.
Here are some day-to-day highlights of the events at the fair:
SATURDAY, JULY 26–
Victory Lane Car Racing–noon to 8pm
Pro Pulling League Champion Tour–6:30pm
SUNDAY, JULY 27–
Parade–4:30pm
Talent Show–6:30pm
Jr. Miss Pageant and “Little Mister”–7:30pm
MONDAY, JULY 28–
ITPA Truck, Tractor and Garden Tractor Pull–6:30pm
TUESDAY, JULY 29–
Miss Effingham County Fair and Little Miss Pageant–7pm
WEDNESDAY, JULY 30–
4-H Auction–5pm
Pro Pulling Champion Seed Western Series and Local Tractors/Semis–7pm
THURSDAY, JULY 31–
Rodeo–7:30pm
FRIDAY, AUGUST 1–
Dylan Scott in concert with Jake and Mikayla–7:30pm
SATURDAY, AUGUST 2–
Demolition Derby–6:30pm
Add to that, harness racing each day from Sunday through Friday. Post time each day will be 12 noon. You can listen to the races on Sunday on Classic Hits 979XFM, and Monday through Friday on KJ Country 102.3.
The carnival will be operating Tuesday through Saturday…Tuesday at 6pm, Wednesday at 5pm, Thursday and Friday at 6pm, and from 2-7pm on Saturday.
