Cumberland school board members took time at this month’s meeting to thank their just-retired superintendent Todd Butler.
New Superintendent Darrell Houchin thanked Butler for the help he has been, saying, “Not only did I learn the ins and outs of the district, but we built a lasting friendship.”
The Board also approved DeDe McElravy as elementary school principal, accepted the resignation of Brittany Gilbert as middle school Science and Social Studies teacher. Also approved was the resignation of assistant baseball coach Kenny Keyser.
