There are still restrictions in place regarding use of Lake Mattoon.

While the treated water is safe to drink, there are still some guidelines.

For instance, if you live on the lake, you can still use your boat.

However, you can’t swim or scuba dive in the lake.

Also, you can’t use the boat ramps at the lake.
