Cowden-Herrick school board members approved a 10-month certificate of deposit with United Fidelity Bank in the amount of $2,389,420.32 at 4.6% interest.
In personnel moves, the Board approved an unpaid leave for Crystal Wehrle through the end of October, and employed Barb Lawyer as part-time elementary guidance counselor.
Resignations were accepted from Trent Boehm as high school teacher aide, Michelle Manley as Cowden head cook, and from Shannon Thomas as another cook at Cowden.
