 Beecher City School Board Gets Ready for the School Year

Beecher City school board members approved an amended budget for the school year at this week’s meeting, and approved officials’ pay for the coming school year.

The Board approved non-certified salaries for the coming school year.

In personnel decisions, Beecher City board members approved non-certified salaries for the coming school year, accepted the resignation of non-certified staff member Don Tull, accepted the resignation of elementary principal Karen Hanfland, and accepted the resignation of certified staff member Carla Dasenbrock.

The Board also employed all coaches and sponsors for the coming school year, including J.D. Robertson as high school softball coach to replace Hillary Kopplin who resigned the position in May. Also approved was the intergovernmental agreement with Cowden-Herrick school district for the coming three years, and the sports agreement with the IESA and IHSA for the coming two years.
