One person was taken for treatment when a car and truck collided at 3rd and Fayette in Effingham during the noon hour Tuesday.
Effingham City Police report that an eastbound truck apparently disobeyed a red light and and struck a southbound car, causing the car to overturn. The incident occurred around 1pm.
The driver of the car was taken for treatment.
