 Unit 40 Board Acts on Several Personnel Changes

Effingham Unit 40 school board members Tuesday accepted the retirement of Pre-K Special Education teacher Rene Green. The retirement is effective as of the end of the recently completed school year.

The Board accepted three resignations…from Tia O’Dell as junior high volleyball B-team coach, from Aaron Adams as junior high boys 8th grade track coach, and from Ronda Flowers as a paraprofessional.

Three hirings were approved…Hailey Denton as high school head basketall cheer coach, Cindy Deters as lunchroom supervisor at Central for the coming school year, and Donna Walls as junior high fall musical director.

One transfer was approved…Kim Tegeler will succeed Rene Green as pre-k Special Education teacher for the coming school year.
