Cumberland school board members voted this month to approve the 2025-2026 fees schedule, and voted to purchase a garden tractor, mower deck and tiller from Sloan Implement.
The Board employed Doug Jones as middle school head scholastic bowl coach, and also approved support staff assignments for the coming school year.
Board members agreed to accept the irrevocable letter of retirement from Jamie Whitaker as of the end of the 2028-2029 school year, and to seek applicants for a school resource officer following the retirements of Dan Kimble and Steve Ozier.
