The 2025 edition of the Citizens Police Academy was recognized at Tuesday night’s Effingham City Council meeting.
Effingham Police Chief Jason McFarland shared with the graduates, “This is the beginning of a new chapter for you as an informed citizen of the community.”
The graduates include Ashley Althiser, Brad Bailey, Kimberly Baron, Alesia Childress, Heidi Clouse, Ricky Eirhart, Kyle Haeger, Casey Kearney, Kurt Mette, Anthony Roley, Landon Tucker, Peter Vollmer and Quinton Young. Childress, Haeger and Mette are not in the photo.
Also pictured is Effingham City Police Officer Jeremy Kyle, who served as the liaison with the Academy participants, as well as Chief McFarland.
