The Village of Stewardson will be flushing hydrants Wednesday through Friday, Sept. 17-19. Residents are asked to check the color of their water before doing any laundry on those dates.
Monday, Sept. 22
The City of Effingham Public works Department will be flushing fire hydrants on the South side of Fayette Avenue starting Monday, Sept. 22, weather permitting. Water may be discolored due to the flushing of fire hydrants. Please check water before doing any laundry. Also, please flush your faucets until you see no discoloration or sedimentation.
