Teutopolis defeated Newton 19-25, 25-20, 25-21. The Wooden Shoes are now 17-7 on the season, while Newton slips to 15-12.

St. Anthony defeated Vandalia 25-15, 25-12 in their varsity match to improve to 24-5. Stats for the match include:

Effingham placed 3rd in the Pana tournament on Saturday.
Scores included wins over Hillsboro 25-19, 25-20 and Shelbyville 16-25, 25-14, 15-11. The Hearts then fell to Sullivan 25-22, 24-26, 7-15 and Windsor/Stew-Stras 25-17, 17-25, 13-15. Effingham came back to win the third place with a victory over Sullivan 25-15, 14-25, 25-21.

Berkley Pullen and Mckenzie Love were named to the all-Tournament team.
