PATOKA — Patoka edged Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City in a regular season softball game Tuesday, 7-6.
Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City edged out to a 2-0 first inning lead but Patoka came back to knot the score in the second and move into a 4-2 lead in the third.
The Bobcats scored single runs in the fourth and fifth to tie the score at 4-4. Both teams scored two runs in the sixth. Patoka then won the contest in the bottom of the seventh.
CHBC had five hits led by Halee Goeckner with two singles and two RBI, Mila Wakefield a double and Hadley Pope and Rhilynn Miller with a single and an RBI each. Anna Hart added an RBI.
