Effingham won the sixth-grade Junior Football League contest over Charleston Saturday by a 26-8 count.
But, unfortunately, the rest of the grades fell to Charleston.
In fifth-grade play, Charleston won 30-16. In the seventh-grade contest, Charleston was a 26-6 winner.
Charleston then claimed the eighth-grade game in overtime, 12-6.
