Dieterich blanked Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City by a 15-0 count in four softball innings Friday.
Lydia Kreke and Addison Icenogle combined to toss a no-hitter. Kreke threw the first inning with two strikeouts. Icenogle came on to throw the next two innings with three strikeouts.
Dieterich edged out to a 2-0 opening inning lead then added on nine runs in the second and finished with four in the fourth.
Icenogle and Kreke also had good games offensively. Icenogle had a single, double, triple and five RBI while Kreke had two doubles and two RBI. Kambryn Mellendorf added a double and three RBI and Nora Wente a double and two RBI. Ava Benefiel and Emery Bill had a single and an RBI each.

Effingham broke a 1-1 opening inning tie with a three-run second and went on for an 11-5 victory over Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg Friday.
The Mustangs had a 14-hit attack. Cloie Bailey had a single, triple and two RBI while Madalyn Hoffman had three singles and an RBI, Liv Lauritzen and Tinley Patton two singles and an RBI each and Miley Wilson, Kendyl Smith, Anna Gouchenouer and Mollie Niemerg a single and an RBI each.
Smith was the winning pitcher. She went four innings, allowing one run on three hits, no walks while striking out eight.
Windsor/Stew-Stras was led by Callie Holland with two singles and two RBI, Laney Barnard with two singles and Reese Stigers and Izzy Manhart with a single and an RBI each. KJ Althoff finished with an RBI.

South Central finished with 17 hits and was aided by five Neoga errors in a 15-2 win in five innings Friday.
South Central ran out to a 7-0 opening inning lead and ended the contest with a seven-run fifth.
The Falcons pounded the ball. Bella McDowell had two doubles and drove in three runs, Claire Chasteen a single, double and three RBI, Rylan Williams a single, triple and an RBI, Alexa Gile two singles, a triple and two RBI, Ophie Lowry a double and an RBI, Lexy Garrett two singles and two RBI and Skylar Webster two singles and an RBI.
R. Williams won on the mound. She went the five innings allowing two runs on three hits, three walks while striking out 11.
Neoga finished with three hits, Nora Hartke had a single and an RBI while Addie Eubanks and Lucy Haarman had a single each.
