KINMUNDY — South Central got the area going in junior high softball with its season-opening win over Ramsey, 15-0 Wednesday.
South Central ran out to a 6-0 opening inning lead then added on nine more runs in the third.
Rylan Williams tossed a no-hitter over three innings. She gave up three walks while striking out seven.
The winners had four hits by Jayda Neilson and Ophie Lowry with a double and two RBI each, Skylar Webster with a single and two RBI and Claire Chasteen with a single and an RBI. R. Williams and Tessa Yates added an RBI each.
