The Effingham Athletic Department runs an Athlete of the Month program each month. Athletes are nominated by head coaches and then voted on by all coaches. Winners receive recognition and a Treign Athlete of the Month shirt. Nomination criteria is as follows: Stats, Accomplishments, Character, Coachability, Leadership and Sportsmanship.
Anna Gouchenouer – JH Volleyball (7th Grade)
Anna plays with a lot of energy and has continued to improve all season. She is leading us in digs and near the top in kills. She refuses to let the ball hit the floor easily and has had some amazing saves this season. Anna is very athletic and her decision making in games has improved as the season has progressed. — Coach Laurie Bohnhoff
