TOLEDO — Cumberland played host to Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City and was a winner in both matches.
Cumberland claimed the seventh-grade contest, 25-15, 26-24. CHBC was led by Elli Wheeler with one kill, four aces and four digs.
In eighth-grade action, Cumberland was a 25-21, 25-12 winner. Reece Vaughn led in aces with four, Anna Hart had two kills, Hadley Pope led in assists with five and Alyson Lawrence had three digs for CHBC.

Jasper County won both matches over Martinsville.
Jasper County claimed the seventh-grade match, 26-24, 25-21. H. Wolf led in aces with three and blocks with one while Hartrich had six kills, Ochs and Wolf led in assists with five each. Ginder had eight digs.
In eighth-grade play, Jasper County lost the opening set 25-21 but won the next two for the match 25-17, 25-12.
Wolf and Ginder led in aces with five each. Mulvey had six assists. Hall had four kills. Jansen and Wolf had five digs each. Ochs and Wolf had one block each.
Jasper County is back in action tonight against Altamont.

Vandalia claimed both victories over Altamont in Wednesday action.
Vandalia won 25-18, 25-10 in seventh-grade. Altamont was led by Cali Ruffner and Blakely McClellan with three aces each. Adriana Starnes had one dig. Emerson Kuenstler led kills with one. Rosalyn Kalber had one assist.
In eighth-grade play, Vandalia was a winner 25-18, 25-19.
Altamont was led by Kinzie Polk, Addie Marshall and Payton Ort with two digs each, Addison Neu with four kills and Teegan Burrus with two aces, and four assists.

The Bullpups won the seventh-grade contest, 26-24, 25-16.
Morgan Kabbes led in digs with six. Mary Hoke had three kills and four aces, Maeve Niebrugge, Hoke and Regan Niebrugge had one block each.
St. Anthony won the eighth-grade match, 25-7, 25-13.
Nina Semple led in assists with nine. Bella Schultz had five aces, JackLynn Nuxoll led in kills with four.
