Windsor/Stew-Stras remains undefeated in the NTC Conference after a 25-18, 25-10 win over South Central. The Hatchets are 5-0 in the conference and 8-5 overall, while the Cougars are now 5-12 on the campaign. JV action also went to Windsor/Stew-Stras 25-12, 25-13, and the fresh/soph split with Hatchets winning the first 25-23 and South Central winning the second 25-19.
Other NTC varsity action saw Cumberland beat Neoga 25-17, 25-21 and North Clay defeated Dieterich 25-11, 26-24.
In non-conference play St. Elmo/Brownstown fell to Casey-Westfield 25-19, 25-20.
Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City lost to Central A & M by scores of 25-15, 25-10. JV action saw Central A & M win 25-17, 25-11. Central A & M won the opener of the fresh/soph match-up 25-15 with CHBC coming back to win the second 25-11 for the split.
Teutopolis picked up a win over Greenville in varsity action 25-15, 25-17 to improve to 13-3 on the season. The wooden Shoes JV was also victorious in two sets, 25-21, 25-15. They are now 9-1, while the freshman team improved to 9-3-1 with a 25-10, 25-17 win.
