JACKSONVILLE — Cumberland High School’s Reid Carlen placed well at the Central Illinois High Performance Track Classic Saturday.
In the boys meet, Carlen captured second place in the 60 meter run with a time of 7.11 sec. Carlen also finished sixth in the 200 in 23.73.
Carlen, Landon Finn, Logan Gerhardt and Cael McMechan took second in the 4×200 relay in 1:37.94 minutes.
Dieteich’s Trevor Crutcher finished second in the 3200 with a time of 9:45.90 minutes. He had a fourth place finish in the 1600 with a time of 4:32.92 minutes.
Altamont’s Jacob Veteto was second in the pole vault at 4.35 meters.
In the girls meet, Altamont’s Baileigh Starnes was fourth in the 400 in 1:04.66 minutes.
Cumberland’s Hannah Shoemaker took sixth in the 60 meter hurdles in 10.48 seconds.
