Effingham Junior High State Track Team Honored At School Board Meeting

The Effingham Junior High track team competed at the State Meet and was honored at the Effingham Unit 40 School Board meeting Monday evening. Team members are, front row, left to right, Abby Johnson, Anna Gouchenour and Rhylee Holland. Back row, left to right, Coach Nancy Ervin, Alayna Wade,  Aleece Lotz, Jared Klingler, Kael Allison, Cloie Bailey and Coach Becky Quandt. The eighth-grade girls tied for second place as a team and several members of the boys and girls squads claimed medals. Not pictured were April Martin, Braxton Osborne, Brody Brown, Bryden Kade, Cameron Moon, Charlee Emmerich, Deek Thompson, Hayden Buhnerkempe, Joel Flack, Kellen Richmond, Kynnedi Florida, Leah Ring, Levi Blodgett, Lylah Kade, Mac Anderson, Mason Overbeck, Olivia Koester, Sophia Wiedman, Sophie Niebrugge, Tristen Smith, Xzaviour Layne and coaches Aaron Adams and Don Kumura.
