Effingham St. Anthony competed in the Bloomington Purple Tennis Tournament during the weekend.
There were 14 teams in the tournament.
“A long good day of tennis was had,” said St. Anthony Coach Darlene Bloemer. “I’m not sure where we placed as a team.”
Liv Hoene and Nora Trupiano finished as champions in the No. 2 doubles. Mia Kinkelaar and Ellie Link placed second at the No. 1 doubles. Rylan Boggs and Avery Jones finished fifth at No. 3.
In singles, Gabby Kabbes finished tied for seventh.
