STRASBURG — Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg and Shelbyville Moulton played to a 0-0 tie until the third inning. Then WSS broke loose with four runs.

Moulton came back within 4-3 in the top of the fourth but Windsor/Stew-Stras tallied three more in the bottom of the inning and scored a 7-4 victory Wednesday.

The Hatchets finished with nine hits led by Reese Stigers with two singles, a double and two RBI. Maddy Manhart added a double and two RBI. Gia Bostedo added a single and an RBI and Miranda Corrie had an RBI.

Manhart went three innings for the pitching win. She allowed no runs on one hit, two walks and striking out two. Callie Holland came on to finish the final four innings, giving up four runs on five hits, one walk and striking out one.

At Strasburg

At Paris

Neoga broke a 0-0 opening inning tie with 11 runs in the second inning and went on for a 16-5 win in five innings Wednesday.

The winner finished with 15 hits. Kelly Will had a single, double, triple and one RBI while Ellie Plummer had two singles, a double and two RBI. Addie Eubanks added two singles and three RBI and Lucy Haarman and Kyndall Mars two singles and two RBI each. Bliss Bear added two singles and an RBI. Kinzie Bell had a single and an RBI and Mackie White and Nora Hartke an RBI each.

White picked up the win. She went 2.2 innings in two stints, allowing four runs (one earned) on four hits, one walk while striking out three. Bear threw 2.1 innings, giving up one run one one hit, two walks and one strikeout.

South Central banged out 10 hits and captured an 18-1 win in three innings over Odin Wednesday.

The winners stepped out to an 11-0 opening inning lead and that was the game.

Rylan Williams had a single, home run and two RBI while Claire Chasteen had two singles and three RBI. Sidney Webster finished with a double and an RBI and Emory Burdine had two singles and an RBI. Violet Skibinski and McKenna Mette had an RBI each.

Williams was the winning pitcher, allowing one run on two hits. She did not walk a batter and struck out 10.

St. Anthony opened with a 1-0 first inning lead but Vandalia came back to finish out with a 7-5 victory Wednesday.

The Bullpups outhit Vandalia by a 9-8 count. Mary Hoke had a single and double while Isabelle McDonald and Reagan Niebrugge had a single and two RBI each. Kynleigh Doty added two singles.

St. Anthony finished with one error.
