ALTAMONT — Blaire Suckow tossed a three-hitter as Altamont blanked Mulberry Grove by a 7-0 count Thursday in junior high softball competition.
Altamont moved into a 2-0 lead in the second inning and scored five runs over the next three innings behind six hits.
Suckow went all seven innings, allowing no runs on three hits, one walk while striking out 12.
Teegan Burrus led the way for Altamont with a single, triple and an RBI while Blakely McClellan added a single and an RBI.
Mulberry Grove finished with three errors.

Dieterich sped out to a 7-0 opening inning lead and went on to blank Ramsey, 13-0 in four innings Thursday.
The Roadrunners produced three runs each in the second and third innings behind seven hits. They were aided by 12 Ramsey errors.
Addison Icenogle had a double and drove in a run while Taleah Garcia added a single and two RBI. Ava Benefiel, Kambryn Mellendorf and Nora Wente finished with a single and an RBI each. Alivia Icenogle added an RBI.
Wente took the victory on the mound. She went four innings giving up no runs on three hits, no walks while striking out three.

Sigel St. Michael’s B. Niebrugge tossed a three-hitter as her squad handed Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City an 11-1 loss Thursday.
Niebrugge went the five innings, giving up one run on three hits, three walks and striking out nine.
Meanwhile, the Sharpshooters put together 11 hits led by T. Monroe with three singles and two RBI, A. Hoene with two doubles and one RBI, A. Dunbar with a single, double and an RBI and J. Niemerg and B. Niebrugge with a single and an RBI each. P. Tarter added an RBI.
The Bobcats were led by E. Wheeler with a single, double and an RBI.

SEB took a 1-0 opening inning lead but Windsor/Stew-Stras came back with three run innings in the fourth, fifth and sixth behind an eight-hit attack.
Windsor/Stew-Stras’ Maddy Manhart had two hits and two RBI while Tessa Shafer had two hits and an RBI.
