Effingham High School had four players named to the First Team and one player to the Second Team for the All-Apollo Conference soccer teams.
The Hearts’ Maicol Sefton, a senior, was named to the First Team along with Camilo Aden, a senior, and Sebastian Simoni, also a senior. Jake Niebrugge, a junior, was named to the First Team.
Getting Second Team honors was Brady Wilson, a junior.
Also named to the First Team were Zach Paulson (Mount Zion), a junior; Parker Masse (Mattoon), a senior; Colin Jackson (Mah0met-Seymour), a senior; Oliver Coleman (Mount Zion), a senior; Russell Applegate (Charleston), a junior; Caden Alt (Mahomet-Seymour), a senior and Casey Horath (Mattoon), a senior.
Named to the Second Team were Gavin Porter (Charleston), a junior; Kade Smith (Mahomet-Seymour), a sophomore; Colton Petrick (Mount Zion), a senior; Brody Garrett (Taylorville), a senior; Jay Oliveira (Mount Zion), a sophomore; Keeghan Shaw (Mattoon), a junior; Bohdan Wudkte (Mattoon), a senior; Noah Crane (Mahomet-Seymour), a sophomore and Jackson Morgan (Mattoon), a junior.
