 World Wide Technology Race To Play Host To Chase Races In September

MADISON, Ill. (April 8, 2026) – World Wide Technology Raceway will play host Sept. 11-13 to second-round Chase races in both the NASCAR Cup Series and NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series, along with the ever-popular Confluence Music Festival.

The full weekend schedule and event logos are now available for NASCAR’s annual visit, which features the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series Nu Way 225 Sauced by Blues Hog on Saturday, Sept. 12, and the NASCAR Cup Series Enjoy Illinois 300 on Sunday, Sept. 13. NASCAR racing will once again be complemented by the return of the Confluence Music Festival, delivering a diverse lineup of headlining acts and live entertainment throughout the weekend. On-track action begins Saturday, Sept. 12, with NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series practice at noon CT, followed by qualifying at 1:05 p.m. The NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series Nu Way 225 Sauced by Blues Hog will begin at 6:30 p.m. for the 225-mile, 180-lap race. The event will serve as the second of nine races in the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series Chase format.

The NASCAR Cup Series stars also will be on track that day with practice at 2:30 p.m. and qualifying at 3:40 p.m.

The weekend will be highlighted by the fifth annual Enjoy Illinois 300 NASCAR Cup Series race on Sunday, Sept. 13, beginning at 2 p.m. The 300-mile, 240-lap event will follow Darlington Raceway as the second race of the NASCAR Cup Series’ 10-race Chase format.

The Confluence Music Festival returns and is set to bring in a wide variety of artists to deliver endless entertainment to the weekend. The festival begins Saturday, Sept. 12, and continues through Sunday, Sept. 13. This festival, which is complimentary to race ticket holders each day, will announce its full weekend lineup of music acts in mid-June.
