St. Anthony and Effingham swimmers competed in the IHSA Girls Swim Sectionals during the weekend.
Molly Slifer swam in the 200 yard freestyle where she finished 10th with a time of 2:12.31. She also took part in the 100 yard backstroke and finished 17th in 1:10.59.
Gracie Slifer swam the 100 yard freestyle and was sixth in :57.03. She competed in the the 50 yard freestyle and was seventh in :26.o5.
Effingham High School’s Ellyana Robinson finished 12th in the 100 yard breaststroke in 1:22.70. She swam the 100 yard butterfly and was 15th in 1:13.87.
Elizabeth Hirtzel finished 12th in the 200 yard individual medley in 2:42.59. She took 20th place in the 100 yard backstroke with a time of 1:13.20.
