Voting for seats on the Illinois High School Association (IHSA) Board of Directors and Legislative Commission closed at midnight on Wednesday, October 1, with the results being tallied and certified on Thursday morning, October 2.
Two new members were elected to the Board in Carl Sandburg High School Athletic Director and Official Representative Steve Schanz, and Edwardsville High School Athletic Director and Official Representative Amy Boscolo. Additionally, Whitney Young High School Principal Rickey Harris won reelection to his Board seat to represent IHSA Division 1. Schanz represents IHSA Division 3 on the Board, while Boscolo fills an At-Large seat for the underrepresented gender.
The Board will elect its officers for the 2025-26 school term at its regular meeting on Wednesday, October 15.
IHSA member schools nominated candidates for the Board of Directors and Legislative Commission beginning on August 15. The nominations were tallied on September 16 and votes were cast from September 20 through October 1.
Results of the elections are listed below. The names of the candidates are indicated in the following list, with an asterisk preceding the name of the person elected to each seat.
