Athletes participating in bass fishing and girls track were honored at the Effingham Unit 40 School Board Meeting . 
Competing as the State Track Meet from Effingham High School were, left to right, Keagyn Koenig, Emery Spicer, Macy Kirk and Camdyn Burgholzer. Not present were Jessica Larsen, Baylee Summers, Kylie Pryor and coaches Shayna Scott and Jeni Phillips.
Competing on the Bass Fishing team were, left to right, Coach Drew Deters, Kylie Harminson, Lucas Niemerg, Gabe Raddatz, Caden Lowe and Clinton Metcalf. Not present were Tyson Siebert, Tharin Arsenault, Ethan Hoopingarner, Keaton Turner and Jordan Smith.
