PARIS — Darla Martin Lohman drove a winner at the Edgar County Fair harness racing Monday.
Martin Lohman, the trainer and driver, went the distance in the ISA 2-Year-Old Filly Trot behind Gj’s Moxie Star in 2:13.3.
Wyatt Avenatti claimed three victories in the sulky while Matthew Avenatti, Mike Cox and Jacquavyian Carter were all two-time winners.
W. Avenatti took Vertical Speed to the win in the second race of the card, the Open Pace Division 2. Vertical Speed won with a time of 2:05.1.
It was Race 10 before W. Avenatti won behind Tonto Returns in the ISA 3-Year-Old Colt/Gelding Pace, Division 2. The pair went the distance in 2:03 4/5.
He then picked up the third victory in the ISA 3-Year-Old Colt/Gelding Trot behind Shady Maple Becker. Avenatti took the winner across the line in 2:12.4.
Matthew Avenatti won the Open Trot behind Tru Fortune. The duo wen tthe distance in 2:07.1.
M. Avenatti then drove Calico Sunset to victory in the ISA 2-Year-Old Filly Pace Division 2. The pair crossed the finish line for owner Leroy Hunt in 2:07.0.
Cox was a winner with Frontier Fantasy in the ISA 3-Year-Old FIlly Pace. Jamaica Patton is the trainer. Frontier Fantasy won in 2:06.1.
In the ISA 3-Year-Old Colt/Gelding Pace, Division 1, Cox won behind Jimmy D Shark in 2:07.4. The trainer was again Jamaica Patton.
Carter captured back-to-back wins. He won behind Captain Bettor in the ISA 2-Year-Old Colt/Geldilng Pace, Division 1 in 2:14.4. Roshun Trigg is the trainer.
Carter then guided Incredible Stevie to the win in the ISA 2-Year-Old Colt/Gelding Pace, Division 2. The pair went the distance in 2:11.0. Michael Rogers is the trainer.
