 Aubree Antrim, Area Athletes, Do Well At USA High School Clay Target League National Championship

MILAN, MICH. — Area athletes did well at the USA High School Clay Target League National Championship held in Michigan during the weekend.

There were athletes from 460 high schools participating and 1,800 athletes.

Stewardson-Strasburg finished 18th as a team while Effingham was 39th and Teutopolis 61st.

Four hundred shooters made the finals.

Stewardson-Strasburg’s Aubree Antrim claimed second place in the individual final rankings with a score of 100. Brianna Helsene of South Prairie, North Dakota was first, also with a score of 100 and finished with two in the shoot-off to beat Antrim.

T-town’s Claresa Ruholl was seventh with a score of 98 and Cumberland’s Kindyl Ingle finished out the top 10 with a score of 98.

Other finishes were Allie Wilhelms (Teutopolis) 98 for 11th place, Madison Hahn (Dieterich) 97 for 12th, Grace Hahn (Dieterich) 96 for 22nd, Emma Jones (Effingham) 32nd with 94 and Hali Kreke, also Effingham, 40th with 90.

For the boys, Colten Flowers (Altamont) was 43rd with 99, Collin Hewing (Stewardson-Strasburg) was 48th with 99, Colby Koester (Dieterich) was 93rd with 98, Hank Sipe (Dieterich) was 161st with 96, Grant Suckow (Altamont) was 241st with 95, Keegan Groves (Cumberland) was 244th with 94, Dylan Hetzer (Effingham) was 253rd with 94, Nolan Fearday (Effingham) was 264th with 94, Brody Ordner (Stewardson-Strasburg) was 267th with 94, Hunter Flowers (Altamont) was 313th with 92, Adam Stuckemeyer (Beecher City) was 329th with 90 and Jack Holland (Stewardson-Strasburg) was 331st with 90.
