 Blues, Blackhawks Deal During NHL Offseason

The hockey scene has changed quite a bit as trades and deals are in the works.

The big rumor for the St. Louis Blues is forward Jordan Kyrou. There have been rumors and more rumors that he will head to the Montreal Canadiens in a trade. But his no-trade clause kicked in today.

The Blues signed goaltender Joel Hofer. He comes with a $6.8 million extension and a two-year contract.

They traded Scott Perunoch to the Islanders for a fifth-round pick in the 2026 draft. The Blues dealt Mathias Laferriere to the Pittsburgh Penguins for Corey Andonovski , a forward. They also dealt Jeremie Biakabutuka to the Anaheim Ducks for Cam Fowler.

As for the Chicago Blackhawks, the squad dealt Joe Veleno to the Seattle Kraken for Andre Burkovsky., acquired Ryan Mast from the Boston Bruins and signed Ryan Donato to a four-year extension.
