OLNEY — Effingham St. Anthony won an eight-team girls golf match Wednesday.
The Bulldogs tallied a 170 followed by Robinson 205, Charleston 207, Richland County/Olney 221, Efifngham 224, Fairfield 252, Mattoon 152 and Oblong/Palestine/Hutsonville 139.
St. Anthony’s Brooklyn Phillips was the medalist with a 37. Also competing for the Bulldogs were Gianna Frisbie third with a 42, Tenley Sams fifth with a 44, Adria Moberly eighth with a 47, Lucy Bierman 10th with a 49 and Liza Kuhns 18th with a 54.
Effingham was led by Emily Lowe in ninth place with a 48, Allison Kroenlein 10th with a 49, Gieah Schlanser 16th with a 51 and Sophie Niebrugge 33rd with a76.
