 Teutopolis Wins Five-Team Boys Golf Match

OLNEY — Teutopolis High School won a five-team boys golf match Wednesday.

The Wooden Shoes tallied 156 followed by Olney 161, Fairfield 164, Charleston 175 and DIeterich 180.

Eli Weber was overall match medalist with a 36. Others scoring for the Shoes were Kade Pennington 38, Jack Weber 40, Owen Kremer 42 and Isaac Weber 42.

Lane Ohnesorge had a 42, Mathew Habing had a 43 and Ben Sandschafer a 44 as individuals.

In junior varsity play against Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg and Mattoon, T-town players competing were Eli Wendling 48, Shane Poulin 51, Colby Field 55, Elliott Braddy 57, Roman Martin 62, Christian Partlow 64 and Blake Rahn 65.

The Shoes improved to 4-0 and are back in action today at Casey-Westfield.

Teutopolis High School junior varsity team won a quadrangular Wednesday at Cardinal Golf Course.

The Shoes scored 170 followed by Mattoon 208, Effingham 211 and Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg 213.

Drew Kirby was match medalist for T-town with a 40. Other Teutopolis scores were Sam Probst 42, Tommy Habing 43, Xavier Schumacher, Kale Goeckner and Evan Probst 45 each, Landon Huber 46, Gavin Althoff 48, Jake Probst, Luke Ziegler and Karson Zerrusen 49 each, Koen Dasenbrock 50, Blake Vahling 51, Mason Thompson 52, Henley Hoffman 54, Kason Meyer and Aisen Borries 55 each, Gavin Deters 56, Hudson Einhorn 58, Kyle Waldhoff 61, Jackson Gharst 63, Nick Rhodes and Braxton Bloemer 64
