 St. Anthony, Effingham, T-town Are Winners In Girls Golf

Effingham St. Anthony played host to Champaign St. Thomas More in girls golf competition Tuesday.

The Bulldogs captured a 170-222 victor.

Gianna Frisbie was medalist for the Bulldogs with a 39. Also scoring were Brooklyn Phillips 42, Adria Moberly 43 and Tesa Ludwig 46.

Also competing were Lucy Bierman 49 and Tenley Sams 53.

 

At Salem

Effingham’s golf squad was a 165-176 winner over host Salem Tuesday.

Salem’s Reagan Shuler was medalist with a 38. Also scoring low for the Wildcats was Mya Russell with a 39.

But the Hearts had overall better scores. Allison Kroenlein shot a 39 followed by Natalie Armstrong 40, Ella Tuman 43 and Kylie Pryor 43.

Also competing for the Hearts were Makenna Mayhood 45, Addi Ruiz 58, Kennedy Tolliver 58 and Hannah Buckman 61.

The rest of the Salem squad’s scoring were Brenna Hayes and Brynn Kessler with a 49 each. Non-counters were Hannah Duncan 52 and Addison Lever 56.

 

At Charleston

Teutopolis called at Charleston and came home with a 219-230 victory Tuesday.

The Wooden Shoes were led by Adriene Koester 52, Alyssa Tipton 53, Ella Hemmen 56 and Sophia Martin 58. Brook Tipton also had a 58 and Ellie Hoene a 60.

Scoring for Charleston were Macie Babbs 53, Grace Goehner 56, Morgan Krone-Smallhorn 58 and Lily Thomas 3. Non-counters were Olivia Rice 69 and Gabby Bumatayo 71.
