CHARLESTON — Teutopolis captured a dual boys golf victory over Charleston Thursday, 159-167.
Charleston’s Hudson Meister was medalist with a 35.
Teutopolis’ Coen Pennington was only a stroke back with a 36. Also scoring were Isaac Weber 39, Kade Pennington 39 and Isaac Weber and Kade Pennington scored a 39 each.
Owen Kremer and Matthew Habing finished with a 45 each. Landyn Thoele had a 51. Individuals were Eli Weber 41 and Lane Ohnesorge 42.
The Shoes are back in action today and Saturday at the Craig Dixon Tournament in Mattoon.
In girls action, Teutopolis was a 194-231 winner over Charleston. Medalist was T-town’s Brileigh Bloemer with a 43. Also scoring were Halle Bushue 50, Josie Willenborg 50 and Brook Thoele 51. Others competing were Molly Habing 51 and Olivia Wermert 54.
Scoring for Charleston were Macie Babbs 50, Morgan Smallhorn 53, Lily Thomas 63 and Dylan Milton 65. Non-counters were Grace Goeckner 65 and Olivia Rice 66.
At St. Elmo
Windsor, Altamont, Dieterich and Centralia Christ Our Rock Lutheran competed at the St. Elmo Golf Course Thursday.
Windsor was the winner with 1 77 followed by Altamont 180, Dieterich 199 and Centralia Christ Our Rock Lutheran 210.
Evan Elam finished as medalist with a 39. Also competing were Mason Schaub 44, Harrison Lash 48, Joel Bauer 49, Henry Niermann 50 and Kamryn Wolfert 52.
Cooper Hankins had a 47, Hunter Grobengieser 53, Carter Boehm 56, Grant Suckow 56, Dayton Tabbert 56, Brock Wendling 57 and Garrett Flood 64.
In the girls meet, Cecilia Pearcy finished as medalist with a 52 while Emma Sphar had a 62.
At Tuscola
St. Anthony Junior Varsity finished with a victory at the Iron Horse Golf Course Thursday.
The Bulldogs scored a 167 followed by Tuscola 173, Villa Grove 181 and Salt Fork 189.
Medalist was St. Anthony’s Logan Gowin 34 followed by Andrew Meyer 40, Cole Adams 44 and Michael Wright 49. Also competing were Marcus Geen 50 and Gabe Huebner 51.
