NORMAL — Effingham St. Anthony claimed sixth place out of 21 teams at the Raider/Redbird Boys Golf Invitational Tuesday. The event was held at Weibring Golf Course.
Pleasant View, Iowa was the team champion with a 282 total followed by University High 287, Quincy Notre Dame 292, Mount Zion 293, St. Viator 298, St. Anthony 301, Peoria Notre Dame 303, Metamora 313, Rockford Boylan 310, Peoria Richwoods 316, Champaign Centennial 321, Mahomet-Seymour 317, Marmian Academy 335, Rockton Hononegan 325, Macomb 330, Bloomington 332, Assumption 333, East Peoria 325, Lincoln 343, Limestone 358 and Monticello 364.
Peoria Notre Dame’s Jack Coulter was medalist with a 65. He was followed by Cole Beto (Rockford Boylan) 67, Brody Allan (University High) 68, Ben Livingston (Pleasant View) 68, Jordan Kerr (Metamora) 69, Alex O’Leary (Peoria Notre Dame) 71, Aiden Barnett (Mount Zion) 71, Dawson Freemen (University High) 71, Cole Harris (Pleasant View) 71 and Dylan Everett (Pleasant View) 71.
Logan Gowin led St. Anthony with a 37-39 — 74. He was followed by Maddux Clark 39-36 — 75, Briggs Whitley 38-38 — 76, Alec Hakman 40-37 — 77, Drake Brown 41-38 — 79 and James Trupiano 41-43 — 81.
