ST. JOSEPH — Effingham St. Anthony’s Isabella Keller claimed first place while teammate Aubrey Denning was second at the St. Joseph-Ogden Spartan Cross Country Classic Saturday.
Keller won with a time of 16:07.70 followed by Denning second in 17:04.17. Also competing for the Bulldogs were Emeline Wines 18th in 18:39.55, Taylor Denning 93rd in 23:00.03 and Elisabeth Grunloh 114th in 28:45.51. The team placed eighth.
Shelbyville won the girls championship with a team score of 66.
Neoga finished 11th with 243 points. Lily Browning led the Indians in 31st place with a time of 19:57.39.
Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City was led by Eve Flores with a time of 22:39.50.
Clinton won the boys meet with a score of 76.
Monticello’s Eli Anderson won the meet with a time of 14:24.89.
Cumberland was fourth as a team with a score of 145. Cameron Roedl finished third in 14:39.55 while teammate Colby Roedl was eighth in 14:55.39.
St. Anthony finished seventh with 216 points. Isaac Tays was 14th in 15:39.97.
