Granite City Meet
Effingham competed in the Granite City Junior High Cross Country Meet Friday with over 30 teams competing.
Jared Klingler earned a medal with a second place finish in the boys meet with a new school record time of 11:04.93.
Maddux Wyckoff finished 27th in 12:10.81. Trenton Partlow took 52nd in 12:47.68. Nicholas Young was 77th in 13:18.09 while Carson Mihlbachler was 79th in 13:19.77. Caydon Jolly finished 81st in 13:21.52.
For the girls:
Kynlie Rohr 23rd in 13:33.52, Arya Smith 42nd in 14:01.79, Baylee Bierman 56th in 14:20.36, Kennedy Jones 84th in 15:03.66, Addisyn Schackmann 90th in 15:20.93, Izzy Schwerman 96th in 15:36.96 and Jillian Hess 97th in 15:43.20.
