MATTOON — Effingham St. Anthony competed in the Mattoon Junior High cross country meet at Lakeland College Tuesday.
No official team scores were listed but St. Anthony boys and girls both had 29 points which would have given them both first place.

At Shelbyville
Teutopolis and Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City competed in the Shelbyville Cross Country Meet at Forest Park Tuesday.
In the girls meet, Mount Zion was the team winner with 33 points followed by Shelbyville Moulton 42, Sullivan 65, Teutopolis 88 and Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City 145.
Shelbyville Moulton’s Hazel Atkins was the winner with a time of 13:02.5.
In the boys meet, Mount Zion won with 23 points followed by Shelbyville Moulton 47, Teutopolis 80, Sullivan 116, Illiopolis Sangamon Valley 136 and Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City 159.
Mount Zion’s Liam Coon won with a time of 11:21.1.
