It was reported earlier that the Chicago Marshall and Teutopolis girls high school basketball teams were tied as the winningest girls programs in the state of Illinois.
It’s been back and forth about how many victories each team has.
Coach Laurie Thompson has now said the Wooden Shoes started the season at 1,204 and so now are 1,231 after finishing the season at 27-7.
Chicago Marshall reported their record this season at 20-11 and is also at 1,231 so the two teams are tied.
