Neoga defeated Tri County 53-52 Thursday night.

The Indians claimed a first quarter lead of 14-11 but found themselves trailing at half 23-22 after being outscored 12-8 in the second period. Neoga put together a huge offensive third quarter as they posted 25 points to Tri-County’s 17 for a 47-40 advantage heading into the fourth quarter. Tri County tallied 12 points in the fourth quarter but Neoga’s six points was just enough for Andrew Snow’s team to claim the victory in the non-conference battle.

Neoga’s Brayden Ray led the Indians with 21 points. Trent Ballinger also reached double figures with 11 points. Kaden Bryant finished with 8, Brayden Sparrow had 6, with 3 points from Grady Haarman, and 2 points each from Malik Coy and Marshall Shuler.

Neoga returns to action tonight in Bethany as they take on Okaw Valley.
