In the lone girls high school basketball regional Tuesday evening, Edwards County and Woodlawn came out winners.
In the Class 1A Webber Township (Bluford) Regional, Edwards County won over Webber Township 57-26.
In the second game, Woodlawn downed Lawrenceville, 52-31.
Edwards County and Woodlawn will now meet for the regional championship Thursday at 6 p.m.
The winner then advances to the Wayne City Sectional and will meet the winner of the Cobden Regional.
The winner of the North Clay Regional, either Brownstown/St. Elmo or Dieterich, will face the winner of the Junction Gallatin County Regional in the opening game of the Wayne City Sectional Tuesday.
